Meet ife
Ife Obi is a marketing professional with over 15 years working in-house at major entertainment brands. Her work includes planning and executing multimillion dollar advertising campaigns, leading sales strategy for both packaged and digital product to hit target sales goals, analyzing data to optimize cross-functional marketing disciplines, and researching and reviewing marketing tech to develop efficiencies in both marketing and workflow.
In a fast paced career, Ife used fitness, pilates and strength training specifically, to destress. Her passion for fitness led her to getting a number of certifications so that she can share her knowledge with others. Ife would later go on to combine her two passions, taking her down the entrepreneurship path.
In March of 2018, Ife opened The Fit In Bedford Stuyvesant, a group of boutique fitness studios offering pilates, strength training, barre classes and more in a small group environment, located in the heart of Bed–Stuy, Brooklyn. While there are a number of big box gyms and yoga studios in the neighborhood, for years Ife has had to travel to the city to get the quality strength & pilates training that she not only enjoyed, but whose communities kept her committed to her health. Herself being a certified group fitness and pilates instructor, Ife felt it was important to bring this type of movement and experience to east Brooklyn. “Accessibility, support, and good vibes is important in making sure people give the focus to their health and bodies that they need.”
While running her business, Ife continues to provide her marketing expertise to companies and brands looking to achieve a number of goals including increased revenue, brand awareness, lead generation, user acquisition, and more.
